Students can attend live, as interaction, tasting guidance, and group learning are essential for success.
Sessions are recorded for occasional absences.

Study Materials
Your course fee includes the official digital WSET Level 1 eBook, delivered to you before the course begins.
Tasting Component
Wine tasting is essential to the Level 1 learning journey. We will provide a recommended wine list, and students source the wines locally. These will be tasted together during the live sessions.
Tasting Equipment Needed
- 6 identical wine glasses
- Spittoon (optional)
- Still water
- Notebook and pen
- Quiet, well-lit space
Online Exam via Remote Invigilation
You will take your exam online from home through WSET’s official Remote Invigilation system.
Exam Format:
- 45 minutes
- 30 multiple-choice questions
- Scheduled at your convenience (multiple time slots available)

Assessment & Entry Requirements
Assessment is by a closed-book online exam (30 MCQs).
There are no entry requirements.
You must be of legal drinking age to participate in any tasting activity.
