As an Approved Programme Provider (APP) of WSET, Wine Way is committed to upholding the highest standards in wine, spirits, and sake education.   1. Complaints Policy

At Wine Way, we strive to provide a consistently high level of service to all our students. However, we recognize that concerns may arise, and we are committed to addressing them in a fair and timely manner.

How to File a Complaint:

Students who wish to make a complaint should follow these steps:

  1. Submit their complaint via email to info@thirstyandwise.com. Complaints must include the student’s full name, contact details, and a clear description of the issue.
  2. Complaints will be acknowledged within 3 working days.
  3. A full investigation will be conducted, and a response will be provided within 20 working days.
  4. If all internal options have been exhausted and the complaint remains unresolved, the student may escalate their concern to WSET’s Governance team at governance@wsetglobal.com.
  1. Partnership with Maison Mura, Miami

Wine Way has partnered with Maison Mura, Miami as the official venue and payment processor for our 2025 pilot WSET courses. This agreement applies solely to WSET pilot courses held at Maison Mura and is valid from January 1, 2025, to August 31, 2025.

  • Courses Offered Under This Partnership:
    • WSET Level 1 in Wines
    • WSET Level 2 in Wines
    • WSET Level 3 in Wines

Maison Mura is responsible for handling student payments and reimbursements in accordance with our refund and cancellation policies.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our students in accordance with WSET policies and applicable data protection laws.

How We Protect Student Data:

  • Personal data is collected solely for the purpose of course enrollment, exam registration, and WSET certification.
  • Student data is securely stored and shared only with WSET and authorized third parties when necessary.
  • Students have the right to request access to their personal data or request its deletion, subject to legal and regulatory requirements.
  1. Refunds, Transfers & Cancellations Policy

Payment & Refund Processing

  • Students seeking a refund or reimbursement must first contact Wine Way, which will review the request in accordance with its refund and cancellation policies. If approved, Wine Way will communicate the refund details to Maison Mura, which will process the payment accordingly.
  • Refunds for courses are available up to 15 business days before the start date, minus a $100 administration fee.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made outside of the specified timeframes unless a valid and justifiable reason is provided and accepted at the discretion of Wine Way.
  • Maison Mura shall process all approved refunds within 15 business days of receiving confirmation from Wine Way.

Course Refunds:

  • Cancellations are accepted up to 15 working days before the start date, subject to a $100 admin fee plus study material and exam fees.
  • No-shows or cancellations within 15 working days are non-refundable unless medical documentation is provided.

WSET Exam Re-sit:

  • If a student fails an exam, re-sit fees apply:
    • Level 1: $110
    • Level 2: $150
    • Level 3 (theory and tasting): $300
    • Level 3 (theory): $150
    • Level 3 (tasting): $150
  1. Admissions Policy
  • Students must be at least the legal drinking age in their country to enroll in any Wine Way program.
  • A valid government-issued ID must be presented on the first day of class.
  • Public and private events hosted by Wine Way are restricted to individuals aged 21 and above.
  1. Academic Honor Code

By enrolling in our programs, students agree to uphold academic integrity:

  • No plagiarism, cheating, or use of unauthorized materials.
  • Respectful and honest academic conduct.
  • Violation results in immediate failure, suspension, and tuition forfeiture.
  1. Photo & Video Policy
  • Wine Way may take photos/videos of classes for marketing purposes.
  • By attending, students consent to their images being used for promotional materials without individual permission.
