  • How to taste and describe wine using the WSET Level 2 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine®(SAT)

Online Program

You can choose from multiple start dates, with courses commencing approximately every two weeks. You will have five weeks from the course start date to complete the six modules. You can do these six modules at your own pace, be it all in a few days or spread over five weeks. The course material should take about 30 hours in total to complete, plus revision time. You will have access to a certified wine educator through the online portal, and can ask questions throughout the course.

Study Guide 

Within 48 hours of registration, you will be sent a link to access your online study guide. Access is valid for 1 year from time of registration.

Exam

Students take the exam through Remote Invigilation. They must register no later than 18 business days before the exam date. A fee of US$125 is charged if a student changes their date after they are registered or needs to retake the exam.

Entry requirements

There are no entry requirements for this qualification. You must be of legal drinking age in the country where you are attending the course to participate in any alcohol tasting. However, this is not a barrier to successfully completing the qualification.
